We loved working with Vicens and his wife! Throughout our whole wedding process, they both were amazing to work with. If you are looking for an amazing photographer just take peak at his website / photos and your jaw will drop. He is an incredible photographer; his style is so unique and romantic - none of our wedding photos will look boring. During our wedding day he was so careful and thoughtful to make sure he captured all the perfect shots, always smiling :). His assistant was equally as amazing, and you could tell they were excited for our wedding, almost as much as we were.  After our wedding day Vicens didn't just feel like our hired photographer, he felt like one of our dearest friends who shared our special day with us.

My wife and I hired Vicens to photograph our wedding. We had a tiny outdoor ceremony in the Berkeley hills, with just us and six close family members. We wanted the capture the gathering but didn't want a photographer to get in the way of our intimate time with family or to make the more shy members feel self-conscious and removed from the moment, nor could we justify thousands of dollars on a conventional wedding package. Vicens gave us a very reasonable price for our ceremony, and more significantly, did an absolutely wonderful job. His documentary-style photographs were excellent, and I was amazed by how many moments and views he managed to capture perfectly in the course of a brief ceremony. Moreover, he was a delight to work with. He made himself invisible much of the time during the actual ceremony, but was such a warm and positive presence throughout the setup and execution of our little DIY event that he felt like part of the wedding party. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone else.

If you're looking for someone who will take boring wedding photos, Vicens is not for you. He is spectacular and his work does not fall short of that. The entire process was so easy with the help of Vicens and his lovely wife, Shannon. We began with our engagement shoot in June 2017. The entire experience was really fun and Vicens made us feel comfortable while my fiancé and I were spinning around on the beach lol. The photos were so great that we even used them for our Save the Date and our Wedding Invitations. Our venue was Taber Ranch in Capay Valley, CA and we were able to meet up with Vicens during their annual Open House. We had the chance to meet Shannon in person (she's lovely and so sweet!) and we even got the chance to meet one of their sons and their pet dog. I walked away from our brief interaction telling my now husband that when we had kids, I hoped they would be as polite as Vicens and Shannon's son. He was really the politest kid I have ever meet! Our wedding was in April 2018 and again, Vicens made us feel so comfortable and captured so many beautify and unique moments. He was so accommodating and just overall such a great person. We were thrilled to get to see some of our photos just a day after the wedding! We recently received our wedding album and I have never seen something more beautiful in my life! The album is so elegant and the overall presentation was spectacular. My husband and I are extremely grateful that we found Vicens and were able to book him for our wedding. The experience could have not gone any better. If you’re thinking of booking him, do not hesitate!

I was really impressed by Vicens. He did such a great job at our wedding I would recommend his services to anyone. It doesn't get any better. The shots were amazing. A great variety and every single person that sees them says the same thing, "Wow!" His set up and the way he dealt with the entire day made it so easy on us. If you're reading reviews trying to figure out if Vicens is as great for everyone as the images you can see on his website and social media, trust me, he is. My husband and I looked online for a Napa/San Francisco area photographer, and as soon as we found Vicens, we knew we either wanted to book him, or we didn't want to take pictures. I know it's rare in life that reality matches up to expectations, but with Vicens, they did. Shannon, his wife, coordinates things and takes point on communication; she's as thoughtful, thorough and organized as they come. Ana, their second shooter, clearly loves love and loves photography. Her warmth and care make you wish she was part of your family and not the one taking pictures of them. Vicens exudes energy and enthusiasm. Working with him gives you an enticingly brief glimpse into the mind of an artist at work. Book them. Trust their process. And love your images. Then let this be the one part of your wedding you stop stressing about.

From start to end, Vicens and his wife Shannon were F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C to work with. We met them at a wedding fair and just fell in love with Vicens' portfolio. His photos are so unique and artistic which caught our eyes. After extensive research, we still couldn't shake off the feeling that Vicens was the perfect photographer for us. Thus, we were ecstatic we were able to book Vicens for our wedding at Nestldown. (Tip: Book him early because he's that good!) We then had our phone consultation with Shannon who was very patient with our long list of questions and put our jitters at ease. Then came to our wedding day, Vicens was absolutely great to work with. He made sure we were comfortable - it's like we have known him forever even though we had just met him that morning. His bubbly personality and infectious smile was contagious to those around him which made our day even more special. It's extremely pleasurable to see the amount of passion that Vicens has behind his camera. He's happy every second to capture our love story and tells it so well especially through our wedding book that he made for us which was custom ordered from Italy. The high quality and layout of our wedding book is the perfect way for us to look back on our special day. We highly recommend Vicens to anyone who wants their special day to be told with passion and love. Worth every penny!

Everything Vicens did was amazing. From our engagement photos to the wedding, he was the best photographer I've seen across all of the weddings I attended.  Professional and personable, he made you feel at ease, made it seem like you were just talking and having your picture taken by a friend. You can tell that he is very dedicated to his craft and takes great pride in his work. He aligns each shot to be stunning and perfect. He was great to work with taking our input for angles/positioning while also being able to add and supplement it with his own unique style. It was never overbearing, nor was it too hands off. He struck a perfect balance to make sure the photos felt unique to us. I don't think I've seen more beautiful photos than what he is able to take. I couldn't recommend Vicens highly enough to anyone else looking for a photographer.

As a professional photographer myself, I had lots of people asking me who the hell I was going to get to photograph my wedding. Truthfully the answer in the beginning was I didn't know. Then my wife and I found Vicens. Let me just save you the trouble of a long-winded review now by saying if you book Vicens for your wedding, you won't be disappointed.

Vicens and his wife Shannon are very personable and extremely easy to work with. More importantly though, Vicens created images that are nothing short of breath taking for me and my wife. I wanted beautiful artwork of our wedding, and Vicens delivered big time!

As a fellow photographer and having the experience of being photographed by Vicens first hand for my own wedding, I can think of no other professional here in the area that I could recommend with a higher regard than Vicens.

Vicens and his assistant Ana Silva, were the perfect duo to photograph our wedding. We were so pleased with their positive and joyful presence while capturing our special day. Just can't say enough about how great our overall experience with Vicens and Shannon was.  From first contact to receiving our completed photo album I have rarely worked with someone who was so completely professional.  Vicens shot our wedding in San Francisco, we were at three different locations during the day and evening and Vicens was always on time and ready to work.  After the wedding Vicens was again super hard working, getting our online digital gallery completed and emailed out to us and then the final components delivered to us in just a few weeks.  Vicens is a superbly talented, and delightful man to work with.

We chose Vicens to be the photographer for our son's wedding at the Westin St. Francis on Union Square in San Francisco.  He was professional, timely, open to our requests, friendly and his pictures are truly one-of-a-kind.  We feel so fortunate that he was our photographer and my husband and I recommend him without reservation!  HE IS INCREDIBLE!   Any questions we had were answered promptly by email.  We received our stunning photos before the due date and received our classy, gorgeous wedding albums from Italy.  It captured the best memories of the day.  Thank you Vicens and Shannon!  We are so grateful!

I got married 2 days ago, Vicens shot both our engagement & wedding photos. I initially found him at a friends wedding as I was a member of the bridal party and I fell in love with his photographs as well as his overall demeanor. It was a breeze getting in contact and figuring out exactly how/where/when everything needed to happen through Shannon. The response time was great and his love of photography shows in the way he works. He literally jumped through a stream for us to get the perfect shot while fully clothed! He goes way above and beyond.  While it is important to support your family and create a livelihood you can tell Vicens is not in this for simply the money. I was not the perfect client and would sometimes leave long periods of time before responding to emails myself but they never made me feel bad our chased after me, VERY accommodating. PROFESSIONAL, FUN, FLEXIBLE, ARTISTIC, RELIABLE I am so thankful that I decided to go to the Napa Bridal Show where my (now) husband and I met Vicens and his wife, Shannon. They were the last photographer booth we saw. We were pretty much done but the photos and style caught our eye. We couldn't stop thinking about them and decided we wanted to work with them. When we met for a quick consult and more info, I immediately felt comfortable with them. They were easy to talk to and flexible. Every moment I've spent with Vicens and/or Shannon has always been fun and comfortable. Vicens is professional and respectful of what we wanted or didn't want. I admire his excitement and passion for what he does, and I'm definitely in awe of his creativity and artistic nature in his work. They stayed with us throughout the whole process, even after the wedding - selecting photos, selecting album covers, providing updates on album printing and arrival -- all the way to delivery of the final albums. The albums were of the highest quality that I've ever seen--classic and elegant. I always knew I wanted to invest in a good photographer, and I got an EXCELLENT one who captured my wedding memories so beautifully. He's awesome!

I cannot speak highly enough about booking Vicens as our photographer. He did both our engagement shoot and destination wedding, and he and his wife Shannon (who is the one doing all the scheduling and correspondence) really just go above and beyond anything we could have hoped for or expected. 

First for our engagement shoot, Shannon made recommendations for locations, checked and updated us on the weather, and was so responsive, friendly and professional. We asked if we could bring our 5 year old daughter and 2 year old puppy to the shoot, and bless them; they said yes. Let me tell you, my husband and I are struggling photo subjects ourselves, throw a toddler and a puppy in the mix and I honestly have no idea how Vicens didn't fire us on the spot. But he didn't! And we have INCREDIBLE engagement, family, and individual photos all from one session! 

For the wedding, they really went out of their way to do an extra photo shoot a few days before. They scoped out locations in advance and Shannon made suggestions for outfits  (flowy, I'm pretty sure Vicens has a deal with the wind Gods). We are so happy to have those photos! The day of the wedding, he came early, captured every detail, ran back and forth between the bridal suite and the groom's suite, and captured every special moment. 

Vicens' packages started on the high end of what we were looking at, but it was worth. every. penny. I would book him again in a heartbeat and I would pay anything he asked. We ended up throwing in a hefty tip cause we were so blown away by his and Shannon's professionalism, work, and going above and beyond to take care of us and make beautiful memories. The thing is, he isn't the type who only sticks to the committed contract hours. He came early and stayed late, did an extra shoot for us - everything to ensure we would get the memories we would want. He is a man of his craft, a true artist, and I can promise you, you will not regret booking him as your photographer!

I got married about a month ago in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts with my reception afterwards at the St. Francis Yacht Club. I would HIGHLY recommend going with Vicens for your wedding photography if you are looking for unique extraordinarily beautiful creative photos that have a "fine art" timeless kind of look worthy of being hung on your walls at home after.

Vicens' wife Shannon made the booking and small details really easy, and to work with him and his team on the day of was a wonderful experience I will never forget. I was so nervous to do a boudoir shoot as I have never done anything like that before, but because he is so sweet and I could tell his sole focus is on his work, that I instantly felt comfortable working with him. He thinks of such creative poses and his passion for his work really comes through in the beautiful, spectacular extraordinary photos I have received after. My friends and family who have seen the photos agreed that they have never seen anything like his work before! Thank you so much Vicens!!

We did an engagement photo shoot with Vicen and it was an amazing experience. Honestly, Shannon and Vicen are nice, pleasant, and professional. I recommend them to everyone for the reasons below.

Shannon was so organized.  She was great with instructions for the contract and setting up a date that would work for everyone. She also gave great style and location advice.  This was our first shoot so we definitely needed the guidance. Most importantly, her communication was wonderful!! She was polite, fun, and responded in a timely manner. She also monitored the weather, which is important in the Bay Area.

Vicen, the photographer, made us feel so comfortable, especially because we are a bit shy. He showed us how to pose and kindly started with simple poses before pushing us to think outside the box. He also has great attention to detail.  My hair always parts funny and he noticed his small nuance fact and helped us fix it to get a good shot.  He was on time and even went to scope out the place early. We loved it. His creativity and passion showed. 

Although we haven't see the final photos yet, we had a wonderful experience and Vicen showed us some on his digital camera.  They looked really artsy and amazing. It is tough to catch the lighting, angels, and moments he was able to show us. We can't wait to see the final products and really enjoyed this experience. It was so fun that Vicen and Shannon make us want to be professional models (though we probably wouldn't be that great)!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get to work with Vicens and his wife Shannon for our wedding in September. As my husband (then fiancé) was deployed during wedding preparations, we did not get to meet Vicens until the big day. All of the paperwork and scheduling was done with Shannon and she was kind, professional, and timely in her responses. Upon arriving at our venue, Vicens raced over to help me get things out of my car before he even knew I was the bride-to-be. After I introduced myself he gave me a big hug and we discussed the flow of the day. Vicens is accommodating, and UNBELIEVABLY artistic in his photo set-up. You don't even realize he's there he's moving so quickly. We just got our photos and they are beyond our wildest expectations. Our USB had over 750 pictures and all of them are absolutely beautiful! I would HIGHLY recommend Vicens. You simply cannot get any better!

My husband and I recently got married the July 4th weekend, and we were so blessed to have Vicens as our photographer!!! Vicens is beyond amazing and talented!! I spent a lot of time and energy on little details for my wedding and had a long list of "must have" shots. Vicens captured all the little details of our wedding as well as the special moments throughout. He is so artistic and creative with his photography and all the photos came out stunning!! My vendors, family and friends can't get over how gorgeous the photos have come out. Not only is Vicens so talented, but he is the biggest sweetheart. He is so kind and his energy is just great. He made everyone feel so comfortable and most of the time we didn't even notice he was there and he was able to capture such intimate and candid moments. Shannon, his wife, has also been such a huge help through this entire process. They sent our photos within about a month from our wedding, which was really nice because as a bride you are anxiously counting the days your photos will be ready. I absolutely recommend Vicens to anyone looking for an amazing and talented photographer for their special day!

My husband and I were married in April and choosing Vicens as our photographer made our day even more special. We were referred to Vicens by our wedding coordinator (Janice Twomey, Rue29Napa) and wow did she hit the mark.

Wedding photography, or weddings in general, are notoriously not cheap. My biggest fear was hiring a photographer and getting photos I felt my best friend could accomplish on her iPhone. Vicens creates art. The second we started looking through his portfolio we knew we were seeing something special. Something that you don't see every day in any wedding album.

Not only is his photography beautiful, but he is a beautiful person as well. We had the opportunity when we first met to also meet his wife Shannon (who is not only his partner in life but in business as well) and his two children. It provided such a unique experience to see how his work really is a part of him.

He also has a huge heart. My husband and I decided to hire him for our wedding but with our budget could not afford an engagement session. Vicens very generously offered to provide that for us and it not only gave us some great memories and gorgeous photos, but allowed us an opportunity to work with him before the wedding and create a relationship that made the wedding day photography very comfortable.

Shannon was great at communicating with us leading up to the wedding. Helping us get our lists in and explaining how the day goes. Vicens also has a photography package for the wedding that is 8 hours. All the other photographers we met with had a standard of 6 and charged a lot to add any more. Having Vicens with us the entire day allowed us to get great "getting ready" photos which was something we really wanted.

During the wedding Vicens did an amazing job of balancing photography and our space to enjoy the wedding. He made it very clear that if we were ever feeling overwhelmed or wanted some space to just say the word but with the way he works we never had that feeling. He was so patient during the family photos when family members kept sneaking in their own shots on their cameras (even with us telling them "hey we hired someone to do all the photos already!).

We were married in Napa and one thing my husband really wanted was a photo with the Napa Valley Wine Train as it passed by our venue. We knew we would only have a short window and Vicens kept us notified as to when it would pass by. When we heard the train sound, Vicens was immediately by our side and we all started running through the vineyard to catch the train. This not only created amazing photos but an amazing memory as well.

If you are looking for a photographer that will not only provide unique and memorable photos but understand the significance of the moment alongside you, look no further. You would be lucky to have a photographer as talented and passionate as Vicens Forns.

After seeing samples of Vicens art, I mean photographs, at a local Bridal Fair, we knew he was the one we wanted to use to capture the memories from our very special day. If you want the standard, run of the mill wedding photos that about 95% all other photographers shoot, then Vicens may not be a fit for you. However, if you want those very special memories captured as artwork for years of enjoyment, then you need not look any further. I do not want to over sell him, but man did he deliver!

Vicens and his wife Shannon are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Shannon did a wonderful job communicating with us every step of the way and Vicens, with his unbelievable eye, and stealth-like maneuvers, captured moment after moment as only he could. You really just need to keep your suggestions to a minimum and let him find those shots. He will not disappoint.

We just received our hi-resolution images on USB from our wedding on April 24, 2016, about 2-3 weeks earlier than expected. My wife and I could not be more pleased with what Vicens was able to capture on that day.

I highly, highly recommend Vicens Forns Photography, especially if you are getting married. The memories from your special day will be preserved in a very special way, and will be enjoyed for many years to come.

Vicens was AMAZING!! From the moment he walked in he made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. His pictures are beautiful and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the area for his photography. Originally we figured it would be 6-8 weeks to receive our pictures but he got them to us in 3 weeks! When he was out of pocket, his wife Shannon was also very prompt on returning emails with our questions. Love his work, hire him!!!

Vicens instantly makes you feel comfortable. I met with 4 photographers and looked through countless photographer sites and tons of emails with many photographers. Vicens was the clear winner! Our meeting was actually over Skype, but we drank wine together talked about cameras, lenses, and of course covered the contract details. His wife mainly handles the contracts and professional stuff which allows Vicens to be creative and able to capture so much beauty in his photos. I honestly couldn't be happier. He took a ton of photos and I would say I LOVE like 80% of them (if you know anything about photography, you know that it is rare to have that many shots come out that are good) 

Vicens was patient, he took time to capture the perfect shot, he is detail- oriented and has you move if something in the background is throwing off the photo (like a tree that looks like it's growing from your head) I've seen other work where the photographer either doesn't care or notice these details, either way, that's not OK. 

Also, Vicens saw it was raining on our scheduled day, he took our pictures at city hall and offered to reschedule our photos that we planned to do outside. He went above and beyond, he drove to SF from Napa, in awful traffic twice to get perfect shots for us, I can't think of another photographer who would be willing to do this.  AND, he got all of our edited photos to us in like 7 days! That's just incredible. Look at his artistry, pay attention to how well he captures everything, notice how none of his photos are "burned" and you should be able to see what makes him so special in a sea of thousands of photographers.

Vicens is one of the most talented photographers in the world. We should all consider ourselves lucky that he has dedicated his career to weddings (which is a lot to ask! Brides are often tough to work with!) Vicens shot our engagement photo shoot in January 2016 and our wedding in March 2016.

For the engagement shoot, Vicens was there early and spent far more time with us than we expected. He wasn't in a hurry and truly had our interests and the interests of getting the best photos given the lighting and location at heart, no matter how long it took. He even drove us to a different spot at the end to capture some views, then returned us to our car. Super nice!! You see that his work is quite dramatic, so if you want an engagement shoot that is more playful and less artistic, Vicens probably isn't your guy.

For the wedding, he captured the essence of the day better than I could have ever imagined. You just have to trust his talent to capture all the little details. He'll do an amazing job. The only suggestion I have is to create a strong list of photographs that you want of family and friends, because you truly work straight from that in the tight timeframe you have after the ceremony. I was a bit unprepared for that and missed some critical people. That's not Vicens fault though, only mine.

On top of all this, his wife Shannon is incredibly responsive and helpful. Icing on the cake!

If you are searching for a photographer, stop your search now and contact Vicens -- you will not be disappointed. My wedding photographer search started online. I interviewed several people, but once I skyped with Vicens and his lovely wife Shannon, I knew it was the right fit and I booked right away. Our engagement shoot with Vicens was superb ! My fiancee was reluctant as he is not a fan of having his photo taken, but Vicens made it comfortable and fun! We are so grateful for the experience, we will cherish it along with the photos throughout our lives and our marriage. Our photos were phenomenal. All of our friends and family commented on the creative style and the locations we chose ! Vicens is incredibly artistic, he is knowledgeable about lighting and placement and positioning, and he has legit and reliable equipment.  I admire Vicens for his passion and dedication, but most of all for his warm personality and good nature. We had our wedding earlier this year. The best choice that we had made for our wedding was hiring Vicens as our photographer. His work was phenomenal and he has the most pleasant personality to work with. We had several different photo sessions with him (engagement, elopement, wedding ceremony/banquet). On each occasion, he would show up very early (for an hour!!) and look around the venue. We had so many beautiful pictures taken at City Hall with him. We also had a traditional tea ceremony/banquet for our wedding and Vicens did a fantastic job in capturing our most memorable moments in our life. He is also very attention to details. He saw a little piggy stuffed animal on my bed during the ceremony preparation and he asked why I always have that little piggy on my Facebook. I told him I am really attached to that little piggy stuffed animal so I always bring the piggy everywhere. When I opened the gallery that he sent us yesterday, I found my piggy!! It was a pleasant surprise and that really made my day!! If you are looking for a dedicated, talented and fun photographer, Vicens will be your best choice! We had our wedding last Jan 9, 2016. Vicens did an excellent job in creating magical photos beyond our comprehension. Having Vicens as our photographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We loved how approachable and patient he is during the whole session. He is very professional and his photos are gorgeous beyond words. We also appreciate how Shannon, his wife, made us feel that all our questions are answered in a timely manner. The whole time working with Vicens and his team is exemplary, but maybe our favorite part was the engagement photoshoot. We met with several photographers for our wedding and after my fiancee and her mother met with Vicens, they were finally at ease with the decision. We decided to go with Vicens and we couldn't be happier about the decision. For the engagement photos, Vicens was flexible on changing the date because the weather wasn't cooperative on our originally scheduled date. Throughout the whole process, Shannon (his wife and business manager) was super responsive and helpful. Vicens truly cares about his clients and works his butt off to ensure he gets the right shots. He's also a true artist - we are so unbelievably happy about both the engagement and wedding day photos. I couldn't recommend Vicens strongly enough!!

I am a wedding planner who had the pleasure of working with Vicens at a wedding last month at Nicholson Ranch in Sonoma.  I must say, Vicens is an EXCELLENT photographer.  He has such a good eye and really captures beauty in every shot.  He has such a great grasp of motion and framing.  Looking at his photography is like walking through a great art museum - no lie!  Also, as a vendor, he's so wonderful to work with.  He is patient, friendly, humble, and very flexible - which are great characteristics to have in the person who is capturing your wedding or special event!  I will definitely recommend him to my clients!!

Vicens was an absolute treasure! Him and his wife are so accommodating and make any busy situation relaxing. I had the pleasure of doing both a boudoir shoot and wedding shoot with Vicens Forns and he blew us away with his natural talent. He has the ability to capture light in ways that editing cannot do. I also loved that nothing he photographs is over-posed. All my wedding photos are so natural and relaxed which is unique since wedding photos are usually one of the most stressful times in the evening on a wedding day. When we say Vicens Forns Photography, it means AMAZING!

We met Vicens and Shannon four months before the wedding, and we instantly felt comfortable with them. My wife was looking for a particular photographer who can deliver emotions through pictures and less editing. Seeing Vicens portfolio and my wife's face, I knew we've found the perfect photographer for our wedding.  We first saw him work during our engagement shoot. Vicens was so much fun to work with. He made us feel comfortable and let us be ourselves. He has an eye for the beauty around us.

Then our wedding day came... We were so confident with his talent that we didn't have to worry about anything. Before the reception, we had to do a photoshoot, and my wife started to feel dizzy, Vicens stayed with us, and helped take care of my wife.

We are very grateful to have met Vicens, and we know that our wedding won't be the last time we will seek his amazing talent!  Our wedding photos came in less than a month after our wedding! And they were all great pictures that we will treasure for years to come!

After receiving a glowing recommendation, I hired Vicens Forns as the photographer at my daughter’s wedding.  He was just amazing. It was quite apparent that he is dedicated to his art. Throughout the entire event he was taking pictures nearly non-stop. He was everywhere and yet was never in the way. Vicens captured the atmosphere and the event beautifully. I couldn't have picked a better photographer for my wedding. Vicens was absolutely amazing. Shannon was very responsive and prompt. She took the time to explain all of the details and it helped reassure me going into the big day. Vicens is an absolute artist! I chose him based on his portfolio and the photos he's shown me are very unique and touching. He's not your average wedding photographer. I also liked that he was there to offer guidance to get the perfect picture, but he never intruded during any of the special moments. Vicens is AMAZING! Beautiful photos and such a delight to work with and was always smiling!!! I would be talking with my wife and suddenly notice Vicens snapping pictures. I did a large amount of searching for our engagement photos, and I can say I couldn't have chosen a better team to do my photos! From the initial interaction to the photo shoot - everything was handled very professionally, and we had a great time working with Vicens and his wife. You won't find a photographer as skilled as he for the level of detail he puts in, as well as the price he charges. Just an amazing job! I live in San Francisco and that was not a problem at all for him to accommodate having our photo shoot in the city. Vicens and Shannon are the absolute best! They are so detailed oriented, asking every question you could imagine (and some you didn't even think of) so that your event goes off without a hitch. Vicens is so passionate about the photos he takes and the moments he captures. He is so thorough with all of his beautiful photos, capturing the big moments and the intimate ones, and half the time you don't even know he is around. My wife and I could not be happier with the service we received from Vicens. From the very beginning Vicens and his wife Shannon were amazing! They were accommodating and sensitive to the fact that my wife was nervous for the engagement photos and they worked with us to find a time and location that would be mostly empty so we could focus on each other and not worry about the people watching. My wife was comfortable and happy and the engagement photos reflected that, they were amazing. On the day of our wedding he arrived with an assistant, on time, and ready to work. He took many candid photos of the girls applying makeup and getting ready. He took the time to make sure we were all comfortable and taken care of. He even got a few boudoir that we will cherish forever! My wife made it very clear from the beginning that the most important pictures for her were candid pictures of the guests having fun and he delivered! There are so many amazing photos from our wedding especially the dance floor photos. The pictures of the ceremony and the reception were fantastic, and he took the time to be in the dance floor to make sure he captured all the fun with our families and attendees. He really made himself a part of the party and he fit in seamlessly. From the engagement photos to the reception, Vicens was a professional, always making us feel comfortable with an excellent disposition, great sense of humor, and an unparalleled eye for lighting and posing. Wedding planning can feel completely overwhelming and foreign, and while we started working with vendors realized that some interactions were easy and others not so much. Hiring Vicens was the best decision we could have made. The responsiveness was incredible. He went above and beyond to make our day just so special and unforgettable. His sense of humor was highly appreciated on the day-of when things are inevitably stressful. He made it go so smoothly. When my husband and I looked at the photos we kept saying "wow", it was hard to pick a favorite. I'm so happy with the amazing, artistic, touching photographs that will remind us of that special day for the rest of our lives.

I found Vicens online last year looking for an engagement/ wedding photographer by reading reviews online. But words can't describe the way I felt when I first saw his artwork, from that moment forward I knew he would be our wedding photographer and I don't regret the decision one bit. Even though he doesn't speak English well, as he is originally from Spain, what he is thinking is communicated through his photography. We were married 03/28/15 and with just Vicens photographing he was able to capture the entire day. My wedding guests continue to rave about our photos and the turn-around time was only 2 weeks! Vicens and his wife Shannon are very professional and accommodating and respond to requests and concerns almost immediately. Truly Breath Taking Art.....

My husband is active military & due to this we had a lil drama in setting & keeping our date. We deciding a small New Year’s Eve wedding in Napa would be lovely. We hired Plan 2 Perfect to assist with the details, and that's when our paths crossed with Vicens Forns. One look at his web site and I couldn't say YES! fast enough. Vicens is truly gifted with impeccable taste and an eye for art. He sees the world around you from a different prospective. What he does behind the lens, is truly art. Pictures so beautiful, that putting a 5x7 (and I mean feet!) sized canvas on your walls to admire for years, will so be in your thoughts. Truly timeless and so tasteful. With each picture we didn't realize our jaws could drop any lower, but they did. While shooting the get ready, he was sweet & made one feel comfortable. He floated between our two rooms capturing preparations. During the ceremony he blended right in. AMAZING details of our ceremony and from wonderful non-traditional angles. He got great candids during the ceremony & at the reception. Posed photos can be cheesy & unnatural; he captured our guest with laughter and joy, wonderful moments forever to remember. He has a gift of making everyone comfortable & you will love his nature. We went off and took pictures, locations from different angles; he will climb up high or lay down low. He has a great eye to capture the clouds or sunlight, the natural beauty around you, when you can make a picture of high heels breath taking. That's talent! I knew our pictures would be beautiful, but what Vicens gave us. I just don't know if there are enough kind words of gratitude to express how we feel about him & our pictures. We feel so blessed to have been able to have him be there with us. My husband in full dress uniform, my lace dress & vintage earrings, vintage broach boutique, the details captured in such a gorgeous manner. I'm SO THRILLED with our pictures, because I love us & art, Vicens gave us both. He was super sweet & gave us a few sneak peeks within 48 hours, which amazed me. I wasn't expecting to see anything. It was a great treat! I knew the rest would be just absolutely amazing & they are! He was wonderfully prompt in getting us the finished product, we couldn't be happier. Other Raves: his wife Shannon, a doll to work with, impeccable communication. Truly this pair makes your photos your last worry, professional & detailed. Vicens also shoots all in high resolution and gives you your prints! How wonderful is that!! He does offer albums but allowing a bride to print what & when is just a blessing in this bride’s eyes, I love canvas. These are canvas, big canvas worthy, I will also be printing a book to carry with me, to show these beauties off.  I have been told I have the most beautiful wedding pictures a person has seen. But any Bride that uses Vicens Forns will also hear that, because his gift for capturing love & beauty is just astonishing. His pictures our truly publication worthy, art to show off! Fantastic record!

My husband and I had a beautiful Napa wedding; the venue, the weather (for the most part) and the family all came together for a magical experience we will never forget.  Choosing someone to make the only record of your special day is stressful to say the least but once we met Vicens we knew we were in good hands. We interviewed other professionals; they were all qualified and personable but Vicens seemed genuine.  He understood how we wanted to capture the "fun" not just the formal in our wedding. We wanted organic imagines of our experience and not staged "moments".  Vicens provided us with images of haunting beauty and evident excitement. Best of all it was no stress!!! Wow, from the moment I was browsing on Vicens website to the time we met in person all the way through our wedding I could not be more overwhelmed with gratitude for such an amazing person and photographer to capture our special day. His images are truly one of a kind and overflowing with creativity and uniqueness. Vicens has a genuine love and passion for making your wedding day one to remember. I am over the moon with the images from our big day and cannot stop looking at them. Vicens was absolutely everywhere, but you wouldn't ever know he was capturing so much emotion and detail. My husband hates photos and made us feel comfortable and created a fun atmosphere throughout the millions of photos throughout the day. We love Vicens and not only is he our photographer but we consider him a dear friend. I would recommend him in a heartbeat and hope to use him for more life events! Vicens is one of the most amazing and special people I have ever met and worked with and he and his wife Shannon made our September 21, 2014 wedding in Napa, California at the Meritage Resort & Spa absolute perfection! His energy, vision, and talent are truly immeasurable and his ability to capture the moment is unsurpassable; we were not looking for an album full of posed-pictures but rather, impressive photos that captured the moment, with subtle artistic flare. My husband and I knew that he was the photographer for us instantly after one initial (cross-country) phone call with Shannon in June (we live in South Florida), and those initial feelings were reinforced during our first in-person meeting with Vicens following our wedding-tasting at the Meritage mid-July. His photography style and technique, coupled with his personal charisma and exuberate energy, was such a blessing on our wedding day –we had no worries whatsoever and we knew that we were in excellent hands –in fact, he actually felt like part of our family and all of our guests loved him (in fact, my mom still says, “we love Vicens!”). That said, he also managed to “blend into the background” during the entire day, including the sunset vineyard ceremony, poolside cocktail reception, and evening reception in the wine cave -my husband and I barely knew he was there and looking back now at the gorgeous photos, we are stunned to see that he was there to capture not only the big moments, but also some of the smaller moments and expressions of love and happiness without us even realizing he was there! We gave him very little direction because we trusted his vision, talent, and artistry and we are very thankful that we did! Our pictures are absolutely stunning and we could not be more pleased. Vicens and Shannon are remarkable professionals and provide excellent communication, service, and overall work product—even better, they are great people. I just got married on Sept 5th and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of my photos from Vicens! My husband is not the kind of guy that enjoys taking photos, and he finds the staged posed shots very cheesy, but even HE liked Vicens' work. Vicens took many candid pictures which is our preference and style. Some of my favorite pictures were shots he captured when I didn't even notice he was around! His pictures were a compilation of various, unique, and dynamic shots. He captured the beauty of the natural environment where our ceremony was held, and added an artistic touch to every hug, smile, and tear (of happiness). Thank you Vicens! Did I mention my cousin also used him at her wedding? He is great! I’m confident you'll be happy :)

Great wedding photography!  Vicens Forns was recommended to me by my day of coordinator who had worked with him in the past.  His wife and he were in communication with me from the moment I booked them, answering any questions or concerns I had. The price was just right, and very reasonable for 10 hrs of coverage.  My husband and I received our wedding pictures less than 1 month after our wedding and we're THRILLED with how they came out. 1 print was enlarged and shipped to us with an online gallery as we'll and a SD card.  We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Best photographer EVER! My fiancé and I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Vicens as our wedding photographer. From the first time we met him we immediately felt a connection with Vicens, I had struggled finding a photographer that I was confident in within our budget and we totally hit the lottery with him. He is very professional and puts you at ease whether you are meeting him for the first time or you are in front of his camera. I am a very self-conscious person in front of the camera and want nothing more than to have engagement and wedding photographs that are beautiful. We recently met Vicens in Stinson beach for our engagement session which I was very nervous about. I reached out to Shannon (Vicens' lovely wife and business partner whom you will be coordinating with) before our session and I expressed my concerns about being a little awkward in front of a Camera. She was totally understanding and reassuring. She told me that she would pass on my concerns to Vicens and not to worry that he know what he is doing. I went in to the engagement session put at ease and had a wonderful time! We have received more compliments than we can count on our photos and couldn’t recommend Vicens enough!!!  Do yourself a favor and hire him.

Ridiculously Stunning Photos!  Vicens was a dream to work with. I did all my engagement photography and wedding photography with him - all originals and prints were so beautiful my family was in tears. (And me too, I'll admit - he got one of my mother and sister that I can't see without tearing up. In a good way.) He is thorough, he accommodated everything we wanted out of our photos, and he's such a warm and friendly personality! Every minute of our interactions was a pleasure. I got my prints back quickly, his pricing was brilliantly fair, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. The best kept secret in the Napa Valley regarding photography has to be Vicens Forns Photography. How do we admire his work... let me tell you how. We met Vicens 4 years ago by chance and right after my baby girl was born he took some portraits of her and my then, toddler son. The light in their eyes was amazing. I thought to myself, this guy is an ARTIST. However, it was when my friend Rebeca got married that I got to see the extent of his mastery with the camera. What beautiful pictures. How unusual and natural. Then, a little seed was planted in my mind. I got married 9 years ago and it was something so unpretentious that I did not hire a photographer, so I only have a few good shots of my beautiful wedding in Spain. I thought to myself, I wish I could get married again and have Vicens take my wedding pictures... and then, it clicked. I don't need to get married again!!! And I will have wedding pictures. So for my 10 th anniversary, I called Vicens. We got ready and drove over to beautiful spots in our beautiful valley and he took the most amazing pictures of our "wedding". Ha,ha,ha... I know I cheated, but who cares, I have the pictures I always wanted, done by an international artist from Barcelona, whose eyes know the beauty of life. I can't wait for my 20th anniversary!!! LOL

Vicens photographed our private wedding ceremony and the dinner afterward, as well as our reception. He spent the entire day with us, capturing all the behind the scenes goings on, as well as the classic ceremony shots. He photographed our reception party several days later, a roaring 20s theme party with dancers and a live band. On both days, he was unobtrusive and efficient, taking pictures with several cameras, making sure to get many different angles, lighting situations, and people in the shots. He has an amazing eye, and his photos are stunning. He has such vision, and captured the beauty of our venue with creative shots all over the property. I knew we would have wonderful wedding photos, but he definitely exceeded our expectations. I have friends who paid much more who were disappointed with their photos, especially after seeing the quality of the photos he took for us. I was so glad that working with him was so comfortable. I imagined that I would feel awkward posing for photos, but with Vicens it was effortless. He felt like a friend of the family instead of someone we just met. He loves weddings, and his enjoyment really comes through in the quality of his photos. My husband now uses Vicens Forns Photography for his business needs as well. We highly recommend him. I'm looking forward to hiring Vicens again and again to document our lives in the most artistic way imaginable!
